There is something quietly special about holding a stone that formed slowly, deep in the earth. Our crystals are ethically sourced and chosen for their beauty, from raw crystals and polished crystal spheres to crystal towers, palm stones, geodes and mineral specimens.
Each crystal is a natural stone, so colour, size and pattern are a little different in every piece. No two are the same, and that’s part of the magic.

For centuries, people have connected crystals with different meanings. Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and intuition, rose quartz with love and self-compassion, clear quartz with clarity, and citrine with abundance and confidence. These are traditions and personal beliefs, not medical claims, and crystals are never a substitute for medical care.

Our scented candle shop is built around one simple idea: a candle can turn an ordinary evening into a ritual. Each candle is hand-poured in soy wax, in small batches, with the kind of care you'd give a gift for a friend.

Choose a scent that feels like you, like Lavender, Smoked Vanilla, Cucumber Melon or Pineapple, or something seasonal for the time of year. Pick your jar in 10 oz, 15 oz or the Luxury 24 oz.

Many of our candles are crystal candles, paired with a stone and made for meditation, mindfulness and intention setting. Light one, breathe slowly, and name what you’d like to welcome in. Our chakra candles and crystal grid candles are made for exactly that kind of moment.

Crystal Shop Canada began with a love of candle-making. Founder Mairead Shepherd believes that small rituals can spark big changes in how we feel, live and connect with each other. A candle lit with intention. A crystal held in a quiet moment. A little time just for you.

What are crystals used for, and what do crystal meanings mean?
People use crystals for meditation, mindfulness, home décor, collecting and gifts. Many also enjoy the meanings that tradition connects with each stone, like calm, love, clarity or abundance. These meanings come from belief and tradition, not science, and crystals are not a replacement for medical advice or care.
Which crystals are best for beginners?
Popular first crystals include amethyst, rose quartz, clear quartz and citrine. Traditionally, amethyst is associated with calm, rose quartz with love, clear quartz with clarity and citrine with abundance. But the best first crystal is simply the one you're drawn to.
What's the difference between raw and polished crystals?
Raw crystals (also called rough crystals) are natural and unpolished, with the earth's own texture. Polished crystals, like spheres, towers and palm stones, are smoothed for a glossy finish. Both are natural stones. It comes down to which feels right to you.
How do I care for and cleanse my crystals?
Wipe your crystals gently with a soft, dry cloth, and keep them out of long periods of direct sunlight, since some stones can fade. Selenite should stay dry, so please don't get it wet. Desert rose also dissolves in water. Many people also cleanse their crystals with a quiet moment of intention or by placing them on a selenite charging plate.
What are intention candles, and how do I use one?
An intention candle is a candle you light while you think about something you'd like to welcome into your life, like calm, love or abundance. Find a quiet spot, take a few slow breaths, name your intention, and let the candle burn for as long as it feels right. Many people also use them for meditation or manifestation rituals. It's a personal practice and a moment of calm, not a promise of any outcome.
What are your candles made of?
Our candles are hand-poured in soy wax in small batches. You can choose from scents like Lavender, Smoked Vanilla, Cucumber Melon and Pineapple, plus seasonal scents. Jars come in 10 oz, 15 oz and Luxury 24 oz. For the best burn, trim the wick to about 5 mm before each light, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
